This invitation-only event was hosted by AMP Foundation and featured four charities close to the hearts of AMP’s ‘Unsung Heroes’ - employees who volunteer with or serve on the board of a charity. 

$59,100 was raised in support of Dress for Success Sydney, Paint the Town REaD, Reledev and Operation Smile, thanks to the incredible support from the audience, and the AMP Foundation - our generous event partners who match-funded every dollar raised.

1. Project #1: Dress for Success Sydney

   

   Dress for Success Sydney promotes the economic independence of women in need by providing, free of charge, professional clothing, a network of support and the career development tools. They support women to overcome discrimination and disadvantage, achieve economic independence and thus empower them to take charge of their lives. sydney.dressforsuccess.org/

2. Project #2: Paint the Town REaD

   

   Paint the Town REaD Ltd (PTTR) uses a collective impact model to encourage everyone in the community to read, talk, sing and rhyme with children from birth, so that children will be ready for learning at school. The organisation aims to secure the literacy future of Australian children, especially those from disadvantaged communities, so they can be successfully educated and achieve their full potential as adults. www.paintthetownread.info

3. Project #3: Reledev

   

   Through projects both in Australia and abroad, Reledev seeks to alleviate poverty by enabling individuals to secure a stable income through education, to help build promising futures for themselves, their families and their communities. reledev.org.au/

4. Project #4: Operation Smile

   

   OSA’s primary focus is providing surgery for children and young adults born with craniofacial conditions such as cleft lip, cleft palate and encephalocele. They treat mainly children and young adults in South East Asia. www.operationsmile.org.au
